ABOUT PWC

Our Mission
and Purpose

RTCs unify the American wrestling community under one goal to advance the sport at all levels.

The purpose of the USA Wrestling RTCs are to allow individuals to achieve their full human and athletic potential. The RTCs provide qualified youth athletes and Olympic Hopefuls access to elite level coaches, high level training partners and world class facilities in a safe local environment. RTCs should mirror USA Wrestling’s mission, vision and values.

A key focus is to raise the relevancy of wrestling on college campuses. Within NCAA rules, RTCs provide additional opportunities for college coaches to further develop and enhance their individual program. This cooperative effort strengthens the connection between the Olympic Movement and college athletics.

RTCs will enhance the development of America’s youth athletes, college student-athletes and elite Olympic hopefuls in the international disciplines.

The goal of the PWCRTC is to provide opportunities to post graduates to continue to train and pursue World and Olympic Gold. In doing so, the PWCRTC provides a monthly stipend to its athletes and volunteer coach. With your memberships, donations and sponsorships, you help these elite athletes pursue their dreams of being World and Olympic Champions.

What does my membership or donation pay for?

When you become a member, you’ll receive a thank-you gift. Membership options can be found under the DONATE or JOIN NOW button. Prefer to give without receiving gear? That’s absolutely fine — a direct donation supports the same mission and still qualifies as a membership.

Every dollar we raise directly supports our athletes, both current and post-collegiate. These funds help pay for training, travel, lodging, meals during competitions, and required USA Wrestling memberships. Currently, we are proud to support Drew Foster, Taylor Lujan, Nishan Randhawa, and Cruse Aarhus — all of whom are actively training and giving back to our program.

Looking ahead, one of our largest upcoming expenses will be providing Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) compensation to current college athletes, further strengthening their ability to represent UNI Wrestling at the highest level.

We host several fundraising events each year:

  • Spring Raffle: We sell approximately 150 raffle tickets at $200 each. One lucky winner receives $5,000. The event includes food and an open bar for each ticket holder and a guest. While we incur costs for catering and beverages, this remains one of our most successful fundraisers.

  • Annual Golf Outing: Held each August, this event costs around $10,000 to produce and raises substantial support. Many participants also renew their memberships during this time.

Increasing memberships and donations is vital to our continued success — this is our primary source of funding. The board is actively working to spread the word to alumni and wrestling supporters.

Thank you for being part of our community and for supporting the next generation of UNI wrestlers.
